Mavs lose to Spurs . . .
Michael Finley scored 11 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter against his former team, and the
San Antonio Spurs beat the
Dallas Mavericks 98-89 Thursday night in a matchup of the top teams in the Western Conference.
With the victory, the Spurs leapfrogged over the Mavs to the top spot in the West. The teams have identical 45-12 records, but San Antonio holds a 2-1 advantage in head-to-head play.
That's a pretty disappointing loss. Not sure what else there is to say.

In other news:
I've officially designated Friday as a "do nothing" day. I'm not sure if people will be collecting at my house during Junto-halftime tomorrow night. If so, I would like for someone to let me know so that I can make people think I don't live like a fucking neanderthal. Plus, I might have to go to the liquor store.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated from all those expecting to attend the after party.
Oh, and Little E: the boardgame excitement may have to wait another day, as my wife has declined to attend, preferring instead to watch Pride and Prejudice all night Friday while making sure my kids don't burn down the neighborhood.
Random Product Plug-------------
(Best $40 I've ever spent that didn't get me laid)
This may be the best available collecting program on the net. If you're a book collector like I am then you should definitely check this out. I've been using this program a few years now, and it is friggin' awesome. But then again, I am a shameless book nerd. Book Collector They also sell products that help organize other stuff, too, like games, movies, etc.

I fuckin' love Book Collector.
I didn't know the Mavs lost. I stopped watching in favor of reading my Modernism book. Blahhh effin' blah. Disappointment abounds.
I'm writing a short story. It's your fault.
Oh, and I didn't know your house was an option for Junto half-time. Interesting. I have no idea if we're gathering or not.
A-train:
Yes, BC rocks!!
Yes, the Mavs lost . . .
Why are you writing a short story? and how is it my fault?
I thought some of us could leave E's and allow the faculty to filter out, while we wait in the bushes, so to speak. Then we jump out and scream "English!!"
Or we could just hang at my house til they get tired of chit-chatting and go home.
I do creative stuff occasionally, but I haven't in a long time, and your bad poetry yesterday got me all riled up for some creativity.
I like the bush plan, personally. Any excuse to jump and yell "English!"
I'm hoping that all the other people will leave pretty quickly. Surely they will.
That's too bad about the board game excitement. I'm sure my husband will be sorely disappointed.
"I've officially designated Friday as a 'do nothing' day."
Judging by you blog isn't everyday actually do nothing day? I mean you said you did not read all of last week. Your not reading Main Street. What is it that you are actually doing besides watching basketball? This is why your shirt will say "I have not read it but I've heard good things..." (I am just kidding by the way).
Have fun tonight, and thanks for the good wishes. Just for the record you party is not a secret and everyone knows that you guys are ditching and coming back over so good luck with that. Josue is looking forward to "getting to know you guys" outside of work. Like I said...Good luck with that.
zc: What exactly are you insinuating about tonight? What do you know that we don't know? And how in the hell did everyone find out about the post-Junto festivities?
I may have to skip out after all.
Well you guys were discussing the party the other with Robin and Ashley in the WC, and then you mentioned to Mary Ann Whitaker when we were doing the fantasy draft so "the word is out" about your party. Josue asked me the other day if there was an "after party" I said I did not think so but I was not attending Junto anyway so it doesn't really matter.
Also you leaving you party plans on your blogs on the computers at the WC where people can sit and read your plans for a "secret" party kind of insures it ain't gonna be a secret. So like I said "have fun tonight" partying MFA. Maybe you cant get her lit enough to score.
I think I'm coming down with the flu.
Perhaps I should stay home.
Hey remind me on Wednesday to get you to show me how to add chain reading to my blog. That is pretty cool.
I would be ill too if I had to face the prospect of getting drunk an dirty with MFA.
BBBBAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Are you leaving town again?
