Fear

Fear exists not in a void
Because it feeds off everything:
Life, love, career, family.

It sparks excitement,
creates drama.
It makes living fun.

For a while.

We look forward and worry.
We look back and regret.
We think the impossible.

We are terrified to lose
That which we need.
We are afraid of failing.

And falling.

Fear exists not in a void.
It simply creates one
When it disappears.
